Hi everyone !

        Can anyone tell me the difference between Graphite Composite neck reinforcement rods (L.M.I. ) and Carbon Fibre ones

In formula racing it would be graphite composite, in NASCAR, it would be carbon fiber.

It's really a misconception, while both are made of carbon. Graphite isn't in the fiber form and is used things like EDM elctrodes, pencils etc..
Carbon fiber starts as an organic fiber such as an acrylic and is then converted to carbon fibers through a process known as graphatization, which is probably where the confusion comes in.
All structual aplications use carbon fiber. Airplanes, formula one, bicycles and of course guitars!Jim_W38908.0410532407
